FYI: If you go online and look up Hobies in the KFS kayak section there is a note stating you can only pick up Hobies from Andy @ SSB. OEX SSB is an authorized retailer I doubt the other stores would have any demos as they are not.

What a fun day with Kayak Fish magazine. Boats were a hit (with Paul and me) since that's all that showed up for it. The day was originally going to be a photo shoot and boat review testing day but we thought we'd throw it out to everyone. If there is enough people that would like to try the boats we can schedule something with more notice that more people can make. Here are a few pictures of the new boats.

Moken 10 lite (10')
Moken 12.5 (12'6")
Moken 14 (14'7")

Paul has a bunch more pictures and you will be able to read the review of the boats in the new Kayak Fish magazine. You can also check out and try them at either OEX, Mission Bay or Sunset Beach.

What will be the offering prices via OEX for these new models?

Moken 10lite = $799
Moken 12.5 = $1,099
Moken 12.5 w/rudder = $1249
Moken 14 = $1199
Moken 14 w/rudder = $1349

Very nice prices, I'm going to test paddle these for sure.

Very nice...but I was surprised at the weight capacity. I am down 70 pounds to about 300ish, but 432 wouldn't leave me with much room. I guess I would have to lose more weight. Wait....I just bought my x-Factor. What am I thinking? lol My wife would kill me to have a second kayak in the garage.
