Harbor Freight has Magnetic trailer lights and Pneumatic Tires
 

Since I am a Harbor Freight regular, I signed up for their emails, I was sent a mailer by snail mail that had coupons for item#69626, 12 Volt Magnetic Towing Light Kit and the 10 inch pneumatic tire. (Item#30900)

I purchased the trailer lights for $9.99 for my bed extender. I know the magnets won't hold on their own, so I intend to use zip ties to secure them. This will be helpful for my lobster runs and road trips to the Sierra's after work.

I thought I would post for the peeps like me who spent all their funds on Kayaking gear and still needed to scrape pennies until the next paycheck. lol

Almost forgot the free flashlight for my purchases too. I think I have a shoebox full of those things now.

TheRims with tires are usually Five bucks. Just make sure you rinse the rims, valve stem area really good. They rust out super fast. :D

Yikes. It will have to do for now until I find a better option or when the money is available again.

I've thought of using two pairs of those cheep wheels, like duallys.

They work great for those long pulls, but these are too big to fit down the hatch or sit in the tankwell with a bait tank. They are loud on pavement too.

They don't suck that bad... they do dig in a bit, but considering the price there a good cheap alternative to make your own set of wheels, pair of cheap wheels the dig in the sand are better than no wheels at all.

That is where I am at. No wheels at all. These wheels will have to do until plan "B" comes along, or more money.:D

I kept the pressure a little low helped a little bit. something is better then nothing agreed. Use them while you save for a set of wheeleez. Money well spent for sure.

I let mine pretty much completely deflate. The tire still has enough rigidity with little to no air in it to hold up my kayak with upwards of 100 lbs of gear. Yea there's wheels that are 10x better than them but they work fine for me, I was still able to pull my yak across the sand and up the hill faster than Frank with his fancy wheels that took 2 people and 5 minutes for him to get the yak on them :D

I always had this idea but they didnt fit the axle on my frame. Its like a ghetto wheel-ez lol.

i used wheels off a golf pull cart works pretty sweet plus no metal

^ I been looking for a pair of those but couldn't find any under 30bucks. How much weight to you think they could handle. I'm pulling 200+lbs fully rigged for hoopin.

Wheels are better than no wheels.

ive never done more than max 1oo doubt even that much, 200 is pushing it i would think for most wheels

at 200 lbs your pretty limited on the selection.

I tried that too! to combat the noise and the traction on the pavement problem, I got a old bike inner tube, cut it ,wrapped it around the wheels and used a few wood screws to keep it in place. true some wheels are better then no wheels, especially when you gat a PA!

Good idea. I'll do that, and use contact cement.
