hooping saturday night?
i'm new to the sd area and this will be my first season going after the bugs. a friend who I bought my kayak and hoops from has been invaluable in getting me set up, but now i'm just looking for people to tag along with so I can practice my technique.
anyone looking for a hooping buddy? :D I'm planning to go out Saturday night...around 9...San Diego Bay most likely... PM if youre interested... fyi, I'll be honest...I'm completely green and have no hooping experience. But I'm a quick learner and doggedly determined. Not expecting to catch my first few times out but it'd be good to see how more seasoned veterans do it. Also, is it ok for me to practice putting down my sets before Friday night? As in, if I wanted to see what it's like to get a stringer in the water, could I do it Thursday morning? So long as I don't keep anything I catch? I dont want trouble from the DFG... :reeling::lobster: |
doesnt the season start sunday at 12:01? thats what i've been tracking for the past 2 weeks...
btw. you can hoop any time. just not keep lobster any time. :lobster: |

Thanks for the DFG quote! So I guess Saturday night is a go :D

Be real careful. The 1st weekend on the opener is a zoo out there. A lot of power boats with a lot of drinking.

hmm...thats a good point. didn't think about that. I think I might have to just wait until next week anyhow...
