Use my waterfowl waders??
Am I crazy for trying to use my waterfowl waders on the kayak? They are still made of the light weight material, but they do have the attached hefty boots. Maybe I should jump in a pool and see how well I can swim!:D
At least stingrays at the launch will be the least of my concerns. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabel...h-All+Products |
I was told that if your waders fill with water you will sink so I would test it out and try to see if you can swim in them.

as for Fowl waders, with attached BOOTs...or booties? and what kind of kayak, I don't think you would like peddling in boots, but paddling maybe.. |
I've worn my waterfowl waders for lobster hooping. I was nice and toasty since they are a 5mm neoprene with 2000g thinsulate boots.
When I bought a hobie I switched to a stocking foot to make the pedals easier. If your paddling the boot foot will be fine. It just looks funny in Mossy Oak Duck Blind camo on the ocean. |
