Lowrance Transducer Scupper Mount

Just finished mounting a Lowrance Elite-4x DSI Sonar on my malibu x-13 yak using the new Lowrance Transducer Scupper Mount. Had to trim a few piece's but it worked out rather well. I think the price of the kit from lowrance is rather expensive but it really makes it easy and a very clean install. By trimming a few piece's it sits tight in groove under yak. Beach landings should not be a problem if your careful.http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...C/DSCF0777.jpghttp://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...C/DSCF0779.jpg

Before anyone asks, it was mounted in the second hole so the transducer is more protected. Mounted in the first hole it hung down an extra 1/2 inch. The nice thing is it can be removed and remounted as needed.

so... using DSI you must go through the Scuffer?

DSI will not read properly or at all for that matter thru the hull!
