Late report from Tuesday morning. Cold and breezy morning was looking to be a bust, when the YT suddenly turned on and put on a show. Big fish up terrorizing mackerel. Pat and I managed to be in the right place at the right time and got a 28# and a 24# respectively. Tried again on Wed am in colder and windier conditions. Never saw em. Tough conditions right now, strong morning offshore makes it quite unpleasant. Surfs coming up this weekend, should be even more fun. |
Sweet!
Holy CHIT! Is that a fin off Pats starboard quarter? |
I was wondering how long you guys would sit on that report.
Nice job guys. I hope you all have a great Christmas and get lots of fishing goodies from Santa. |
UNBELIEVEABLE, TOTALLY COOL, I gotta get that TOTW. Do you offer guide service?
|
Must be those mackerel striped kayaks that sucked them in. What is that fin sticking up just behind Pat's yak :?:
Mike |
looks like his Iron hanging in the water.
|
my guess is that is the edge of his paddle
|
good guess, that didn't even cross my mind.

what bait were these fish caught on ??? deep iron, top-water iron, live bait ??? |
nice fish
Nice job guys!
I was slow on the sight part of the sight fishing Tues. By time I turned around and saw the melee, couldn't paddle fast enough. Watched Brad and Pat hook up as they got there few secs before me. Timing. Or maybe skill. Maybe the same thing. I don't think that's his iron in the h20. The irons look like they're both hooked near his reels. I think it's his paddle, a swim-by, or a photo shop insert. |
