ITS A LONG SEASON...
 

MIDNIGHT WHEN IT'S LEGAL...Do you really need to add more grief to your local DFG wardens night by dropping your nets early and then telling him that you are hooping for CRABS!
The season is almost 6 months long... I think you just may be able to find a few Bugs after Friday/Saturday.

I'm considering staying home Friday and going out Sunday night instead. We were planning a late launch Friday night/Saturday morning but I'm having second thoughts. In the six years that I've been hoopnetting I've never gone out on opening day so I have no clue what to expect. I'm sure that the term 'madhouse' is an understatement on opening day.

I know on San Clemente pier the DFG will site on pre drops...according to one officer i spoke with "If it's in the water your fishing" just food for thought..:cool:
