moyer tournament conflict with rough water swim?
 

i just spoke to the lifeguards and they close the boat launch for the annual la jolla rough water swim that takes place on Sunday September 11. hopefully we can reschedule to a different day. just wanted to get the word out!

Can't we just catch and release them?

I do not believe there will be a problem with our early morning launch - and our Fish Weigh-in Time can be adjusted to allow a reasonable amount of time to arrive at Kate Secessions Park to weigh your catch.

Jim has been made aware of the possible conflict this morning and is working on it.
-The course Map does not appear to have a conflict with our launch area at The Boat Launch

The Rough Water Swim Starts and Returns at La Jolla Cove - Not La Jolla Shores Beach. and we will not be fishing in the Reserve that day - so It should not be a conflict.
-Although the City may say differently - stayed tuned.

Unfortunately the launch is closed from 12-3:30, which really screws us up. Matt and I discussed it and will be holding the tournament on Saturday the 10th instead. This for me sucks because I don't return from Alaska until the night of the 10th so I will miss the event.
