So, I'm fishing Cabrillo yesterday and have my radio on SCAN MODE and hear this chatter......there was more but I didn't record it. Some people are pretty ignorant and stubborn.....I would have stopped immediately.

I'm really surprised that they didn't use deadly force on this guy, they told him at least a dozen times to get out. Apparently, he had a permit to dock in that area but he refused to wait for them to confirm it. Eventually, they confirmed he had a permit but even then he still kept pushing it. At the end they told him to maintain a speed of 5knots, he responded, "10-4, will maintain a speed of two five knots". At this point they told him again to ease off or they would use deadly force. Fishing must be really good in that area.

She needs to put down the radio and let someone with an IQ over 60 do the talking. I wish I knew who was talking just so I could send that to her CO and let him know how close he was to being relieved of his command.......the public affairs officer would love that this made youtube.

I spent 7 recent months in Afghanistan, and could not even think about using "Deadly force" on someone who has not been positively identified as an imminent threat to myself or a coalition force. She was talking out of her a$$

Wonder what the fishing is like inside the Navy area.

I don't think this is unusual, you usually hear this kind of radio chatter when there is a navy or coast guard vessel in the vicinity. Over in HH at the navy base they really get flipped out, especially if there is a navy vessel docked up there.
