Is outerbanks still selling squid out there?

Called, got the VM. Says they would be there until the 6th...Anyone seen them today?

no i did not see them today

they left today... all the squid is gone.

Just heard the VM again. It now says they left due to no squid.

Is the squid actually gone, or is have they just dispersed so that it's too hard to corral?

In my past experience, I've known bait co.s to quit due to lack of interest, overstock (@ the fish markets) w/low demand, and difficulty in gathering.

You might still try to jig up some in the previously concentrated spots (or try metering for them).
