I didn't check the internet, to make the decision. My boy had asked me if he could "fish with me tomorrow on the kayak." I got permission from the "boss," and jammed to load up for the next morning.

I caught "one of the 10" after I farmed another earlier. Not on a baited hook. My boy was amped. Cleared our deck like a pro. He had not been in that situation before.

Later he nailed a super nice calico, that we had as tasty ceviche before the BBQ of tail with neighbor dads.

Feeling blessed!

Gotta love a family outing, especially if it includes fishing and catching. thx for sharing. I'm sure your son will catch one taller than him in the near future.

You were the one that put our game faces on. In at sunrise w/ a fatty. Kid caught a couple of the live versions of the things off the cloud right after that. Tacked one on and your advice got my boy on the calico. Mine was old fashioned. Did you see my bait tank? You kept us in the action all morning.

I will still have you inside my door to enjoy the tasty meals, anytime. Blackened YT!
