First Yellow on the yak
 

Fished LJ for 3 days starting from 2/22-/2/24 and finally was able to get my first ever yellow from the yak, On my last day there . I been Fishing Lj for the past few years with No luck ( about 10 trips a year )

Sweet yellow... 1lb per trip over the years.

Ha:), I Know that will never Happen , I was one of the Lucky ones this week .I personally Never seen one over 42 Lbs and that was at the Guadalupe Island ..

I can not remember every fish I have caught..., but I vividly remember EVERY fish I have lost. Kelp = POP, Kelp = POP, Kelp = POP, Kelp = POP, (Dan catches several YT, I see about 1,000 below my yak) Bad Knot = POP,\ Kelp= POP, Bad Knot = POP, Light line = POP, Light Line POP, Set the friggen hook you friggen girl...

You Know how it goes. Either way, wintertime yellers haunt my dreams/nightmares.

My first YT was just a 12 lber but I'll never forget it.....that thing is a beast....and on 25lb test....congratulations.
