Join us in this celebration of life and community. This will be a day of remembrance, honoring a young man who's life was full of his family and friend's love and that love will live on forever.
All proceeds will be given to continue the James Lebowitz Computer Science Scholarship as well as Autism related causes

Awarding biggest fish over all as well as biggest yellowtail, white seabass, and halibut trophies. Kids fish for free with an adult, just e mail me their names prior to fishing. andy@oexcalifornia.com
All DFG rules apply, all fish must be unassisted catches, no motorized craft.

You may launch any time after midnight on September 10th from La Jolla Shores, final weigh in will be at Kellog Park, the lawn near the restrooms at La Jolla Shores. You must be in line with your fish prior to 1pm. Yanni of Fisherman's Belly will be will be cooking up fish burritos starting at noon, invite your family to join in this celebration.

Trophy suggestion
 

Just a suggestion. Maybe instead of the glass trophies lasered with first, second and third. Would be cooler, no pun intended to laser some Yeti Rambler cups instead.

I will be more than happy to help set up, break down, and if need be, be Yanni's souse chef. In other words, I will be glad to help on shore if need be.

Is that all? I just rinsed mine off a few months ago :D but don't even have a FF that works on mine :), and I probably need batteries for my tank. Maybe I'll go old style with the bait tube! if I can find it that is....or just follow some guys who have one, if I can keep up!:eek:

Im new to the area. Im planning on a 430 or 5AM launch

Should I park and launch from La Jolla Shores Park? Or do I need to Launch from Avenida De La Playa? (If so, where do I park in that case).

Also looking for a someone to take pity on me and I ask to pair up with. Im spending the Night down in La Jolla, so ill only be a few minutes drive from the park.

Please let me know if i can pair up or join someones group. I have a PA14.

Dan, easiest to launch from Avenida de la Playa, just drive on to the beach set up and then park either on the street or in the lot. After landing I would wheel kayak over to the park or back to your vehicle as to not lose your parking spot. We will have a scale set up in the park to weigh catches.

Maybe use a different color ticket for online/absentee sales. Numbers assigned when payment received. At purchase time, buyer designates which shop to pick up item won. Absentee winning numbers & names published in a post after event

Would have to have assigned prizes for each draw, and not the "pick from the table in order of draw" approach.

Could even stream the drawing on FB Live or a link on here. I can't imagine anyone would doubt integrity of the draw, or they would just not buy tickets
