Since the fishing has been slow for me, I have decided to train dogs to help me fill up the freezer.... Anyway, fishing was slow. I did see a couple fish caught today and a really nice WSB.

jruiz 03-15-2015 05:24 PM

I'll just say it nicely. Please don't feed them. Others may not be so nice

LBKayakDude 03-15-2015 05:35 PM

Yea wtf. They don't need any more encouragement to steal our bait, or jump on our yaks 😠

ful-rac 03-15-2015 05:50 PM

Is it too early for popcorn...? or should we see where this one goes first? Cute seal! Did you give'm a hug as well?

makobob 03-15-2015 05:51 PM

Looks like he is training them to beg from PA's should be alright for the rest of us.

Lol, good thinking.

If you're on an X Factor, you better be swinging at those little bastards, lol.

bubblehide 03-15-2015 06:52 PM

Wow, I can see the paddle indentation on her head, good shot. I hope you didn't land with that bludgeoned pup still on your kayak.

rossman 03-15-2015 06:52 PM

That is just wrong.
Had a big bull sea lion wash up on my beach this morning. Dead. I miss a great money shot when my dog went over and lifted his leg on him and then kick sand on him. Hopefully he'll do it again tomorrow when I have my camera with me.

Now that's behavior that SHOULD be encouraged 😁 😊

Hope you DON"T eats what you kills!!! How about we bring a big turkey down for you on our Asuncion 3 trip? You up for that?

rossman 03-15-2015 07:03 PM

That would be great Roberto. For some reason all I can get at the markets are chicken wings and drumsticks. Don't know what they do with the rest of the bird.

Dane101 03-15-2015 08:05 PM

Wait when he's 350-500 lbs and wants to jump up on your yak. You'll be regretting the day you trained him to think yakkers = free meals:doh:

Cadillyak 03-15-2015 08:13 PM

Humm. This should be an interesting post. Hope than Mac been infused with the plague.

YakDout 03-15-2015 08:18 PM

Or some ghost peppers... Been thinking of trying that one myself. But not sure if it would work in their fat ass stomachs.

Pinhead 03-15-2015 08:49 PM

................oh man!!!!! It's a pickin' YT Thief!

Don't feed them. Instead, YELL - BAD DAWG!!!!!!! box his ears 'er wack him on the nose with a news paper and send him yelping.

They might not bothering him going in but you can bet he will know when they come out, and I don't think you want to be down wind.

Irishman 03-15-2015 08:58 PM

Not a good idea to encourage, swift whack to the head to encourage junior to go on his way

wiredantz 03-16-2015 06:40 AM

i was wondering who was training these roaches

LBKayakDude 03-16-2015 07:34 AM

Is it true you're allowed to shoot them with flathead pellets? Captain on a party boat had quite a rifle one time but never used it.

Not positive but I don't think it's legal to shoot them with a BB gun. I know a paintball gun is ok though.

cell128 03-16-2015 08:05 AM

We went out on a full day 2 weeks ago....not gonna throw the captain under the bus....but he did a great Job keeping them away with his pellet gun

octico 03-16-2015 08:10 AM

Having had one of those in an adult model steal a 30" halibut off a game clip yesterday, I'm not a real fan of them right now.

Back in November, the Captain we had was shooting a bb gun at them. He said it was legal. I didn't care either way.

StinkyMatt 03-16-2015 12:55 PM

Frank,

By the time YOU hear about WSB being caught......theyhave been caught for three weeks.

:D

All reports of WSB are purely fictional at this time of the year....

We all know that they absolutely need water in the 80 degree to come to our waters.

Quitfeeding the dogs....you are asking for trouble.

wiredantz 03-16-2015 01:31 PM

Matt, do you have a seal problem in Antarctica?
