This is just a teaser pic of what some of our local kayak fishermen pulled out of the water today. Hopefully they will tell their stories so the rest of us can learn how it's done.

Congrats. An amazing score of some quality bass. Unfreaking believeable. Dude I wish I was there but it was freaking cold at 4a.m.

I noticed that as well. It looks like one of each.

Details: The fish came in 105' on a mac w/ 2 oz lead. It went 41.8# for 2nd place. I'll leave the other stories to their respective authors, but I will say that Dorado50 is leading WCW 07 with double toadage. congrats to all that caught today.:luxhello: :you_rock:

My big one was a juvi black that was around 5 lbs. He swam down after the release.

All that time on the water definately paid off...

Thanks to BWE for putting on a great event. Even though I came up empty, I really appreciate Dave sharing pointers with me. Also thanks for the burger and dogs. I am inplementing changes as we speak. Congrats to all the guys that caught fish, very impressive picture.

Way to go guys....Corey!! I knew if I left you, you would hook up....I had to head in and get on the road to a Bday party....I knew that was gonna happen! Did you get it after you pee'd? or after you chewed the 7th piece of gum on the right side only? Actually, during my long drive home I was thinking worse....that it was gonna blow open on wsb and everyone but me was gonna land one. Congrats to everyone that hooked up AND landed one....I need one of those!

I can't tell if Brad is holding up a Yellowtail or WSB. Which is it?

I think it was after the 7th piece of gum, but I lost count at 5. :D

I turned and headed back out for another lap, this time staying out in deeper water. I paddled over a school that I saw on the meter and that was that. Landed on the beach by 10:40.:kayak-surfer:

nice calm morning out there. Got mine on a spanish down deep. Landed him and went bendo two minutes later on the greenie up top only to dump the yellow shortly there after. The yellows went off for a minute. One just about hit my bow chasing a mack. When they are that close it really gets yer heart pumping. Gotta love it.

Thanks to all who put this together. Burgers and dogs were great!
