This should be fun again. Anytime you get to camp out with Tony the "Midnight Bandito" you know it's gonna be fun.

We always eat like kings...last few trips included steaks, lobster, pork chops, omlettes........

Highest bidder gets to share Tony's tent!

Brian and I will be there.:D

Should be there late fri afternoon.

Drake 01-11-2013 06:02 PM

Team Lollipop might be showing up

ericko 01-11-2013 06:17 PM

Might call in sick friday gives me 4 days off... jada will be there to show me how to catch fish when she's not sleeping on the yak.

StinkyMatt 01-11-2013 06:26 PM

Neil, make sure you and Rob have sleeping bags that zip together.......

It gets real cold late at night....:eek::eek:

jorluivil 01-11-2013 06:33 PM

I'll be there but not until Sunday morning, I'm on call that weekend so I have to stay close to work.

P.S
Please please please do not leave Godzilla with me again, if you invite him you should be the one listening to his theories. By the way, I wasn't resting my head on my hands, I was crying.

Sleeping bags? Oh that's a good one.
This is how we roll here in The Guild.
Shower after a long day fishing, furnace for those chilly nights, a real coffee machine in the morning, a toilet at 0300 when it's 30* outside.
You get the point funny guy.
I've had this baby everywhere. Mammoth, Kernville, out to the desert,
Willow Springs Int'l Raceway when I used to road race, etc.
Yup, the beds have flannel sheets on them. :)

jorluivil 01-11-2013 07:41 PM

This how real men roll

One truck, four kayaks......good times.

This ain't no Four Seasons, this is fishing!

You are supposed to let Tim do the grabbing.:D

MrPukaShell 01-12-2013 06:43 AM

Get you reservations in early for camping, like right now. The MLK tournament is there that weekend so it will be a little crowded. $24.00 to get in $10.00 for the tournament, plan accordingly.

OK kids, check it out...
I just called the lake to make reservations for next weekend, and they are not taking them at all. I spoke to a nice gal named Mel, and she said that they will have plenty of room, even with the tourney going on. They said that the weather is the reason for not accepting reservations, because if it rains, they close the access road to the campsites down, and all anglers must clear the lake.
I'm figuring that we're going to be there Fri. and Sat. nights, and fishing Sat. and Sun. Team Lollipop, if all things go as planned, will be rolling up Friday afternoon and checking in after 3pm, and setting up camp.
Not really anything more to report for now. Good times ahead amigos!

ful-rac 01-13-2013 12:43 PM

Just called down there, wood burning campfires are ok just as long as its not windy. Looks to be a little warmer at night next weekend...in the low 40s. The forecast says it will be under 10mph all weekend. Looks like a go:luxhello: lets put it together!

jorluivil 01-13-2013 05:32 PM

Whats the latest you can show up Saturday night?

Cool, I'll put you on the list. I hope the weather works out I checked a couple of different forecasts and they're all different. Some say beautiful weather, winds less than 10mph some say 20 to 25....so I guess we'll see. Just have your gear ready to go.

Deamon 01-14-2013 01:51 PM

Deamon 01-14-2013 05:35 PM

Cbad Mike 01-14-2013 05:46 PM

not sure but I'm trying to see if I can make it. Friday-Sunday or Saturday morning-Sunday.
Do you think that there will be enough camping spaces since its a tournament weekend?
Also... is anyone packing a generator? I dont have one but am looking for a way to keep my FF battery charged.

Mike

Mike

Matt has one, he uses it for his blow dryer, curling irong and his blow up dolls.

StinkyMatt 01-14-2013 07:21 PM

We should bring a 3000 W generator so we can fish some trout.

When you run out of ff juice, just keep fishing. They have done that for a few years before ff became popular.

Brian (son) and I will be there Friday and sat .night. Fish sat and part day on Sunday.
