Seems like a great deal. I just wish I could find something similar on a Sealine or Seagate

The cheapest I have seen the Sealine is $89 but that was at the Fred Hall Show from Turner's this last March. I have been keeping an eye on their weekly ad since then but neither the Sealine or Seagate has gone on sale since.

For anyone who's shopped on steep and cheap before, you know there are always great deals on all kinds of gear. Here is the link to a sale on kayak and fishing gear. Some great prices on PFD's and other accessories. They have some patagonia wading pants that are usually $300 for about $100, only is size small though. Check it out and I hope someone scores some deals!

They have some dry tops on big markdown - over 50% off

This isn't a deal but it will save you money. Sports Chalet will price match anything online. You just need to bring it up on your phone and hand it to the cashier so they can verify that it's the same item. My last trip saved me $120 on three items. I saved more money than I spent on on those three items. (2 pairs of shoes and a floating gaff)

What do you guys think about making this thread sticky? Somebody is always passing along a good deal when they find them. At least we would have one single thread that is always available to check in on.

Penn Squall 40 at Wallyworld

Hi all-

First post on this board as I am new to this sport. Shopping for reels and found the Penn Squall 40 for $89. Star drag, so that might be an issue for some, but seemed like a good price.

(note, need to select the 40 to see the reduced price)

I have a squall 12. That I use in the bay and love it. Not sure if the 40 has the same casting ability though.
