This site was awesome back in the day. But when the local San Diego guys stopped posting and the L.A kooks took over, it brought a tear to my eye. Sorry if my opinion angers anyone, but it's just an opinion.

Whether on a boat yak or from the surf I've been fishing that area for over 15+years never had a problem until 3 years ago when someone planted and stickers and wrote MLO on my jeep is when I said *uck um so I say,again *uck um if they don't like it go swallow a treble hook :the_finger:

Vandalize any trucks lately? A man of your stature needs to keep active in the community. Must be nice to be able bash some people here for just mentioning Malibu with disrespect!! Kinda like the good ole days, and for you it's probably a great way to generate some sense of purpose and a little continued self importance.

So how's fishing? Been kicking any Malibu butt? I don't want to brag but I'll tell you between you and I that repower of my skiff has been fantastic. Great fuel economy. Nice to fish the old Bu without worrying about traffic or parking.

Keep your calendar open and make it down and let's fish! I'll keep an eye out for your truck from the MLO's (who oddly enough don't even live here but claim they do).. Only local that does is George but that's a different story..

Malibu is nothing but nice guys. I've always been treated with courtesy and respect. When I posted my rare catches I would receive high fives and kudos from the "local" guys. They were excited to know that timely posts were bringing new kayakers to their area which would enhance the experience for all of us.
