madsientist, i think thats a cabezon not a sculpin. sculpin have a more defined orance while cabezons have that bright red. both also have no scales

I'll take your (or the mods) word for it. I haven't caught enough of the funky bottom critters to really be able to tell them apart.

may as well and at least try and challenge for this.

dont be fooled by the bottom critters!!!i had to learn all about them before i got to work on the dolphin. you cant fillet them in california, and they have to be 15"or over. you have to gut and gil them. so whos in the lead for this contest?

I love the fact that little lizards will bite a jig as big as they are. I always wonder what the hell they are thinking.

the lizards are wired on PCP.... and they think they are a shark - LOL :lol:
