I thought your quote "shoulders are a bit wider" was going to conclude with "... just like Trout's!" he he he
I miss Baja. Be back from Oahua to visit SD in March for 6 days... I'd love to get OTW for one of them. Crappy time to visit, but maybe find a weather window and a lucky WSB. |

Nice report guys. Looks like a blast, except for the eye thing. Sorry Art. WTG on the yellows. |
FREAKING MORON KAYAKERS, LEAVE SOME YELLOWS IN THE OCEAN FOR CHRIST SAKE. Just having fun, sounds like a good trip, hope the eye thing works out Art. Thanks for sharing. Dave

Awesome trip! I'd like to get a little further south on the Pacific side soon. Never fished further south than San Quintin.

No doubt about it. When I did the San Francisquito trip with Art, Neil, Bill, John and Colin... it was a mutual agreement across the board that the YT were the gnarliest fighters ever. We were getting spooled and busted off in the rocks by 25# fish, that would've been 10-minute fights to the gaff in LJ. And if you almost got sucked out to sea in that current like we did... you'd know why those YT shoulders were so wide! No joke... that was heavy just trying to get back in. :captain:
