Such anger I sense from you, you big teddy bear. do you need a hug?
it's not good for you to get too angry, you start leaking butter. I love you Tony. you make me laugh all the time. |
1 - different strokes for different folks (your mileage may very for every comment made) but the # item is a great life jacket aka PFD and a good paddle.
2 - what are you planning to target and where are you going to fish? You may not need a bait tank if you're going to chuck plastics all day in the bay or fresh water. |
You could start by searching the many other threads with people asking the very same question on what they need to start out with. But Nic D pretty much nailed it.
I myself am a minimalist, I usually don't plan on bringing all of my stuff just so everyone can see how much fishing gear I have..... You people know who you are... Best advice I could give you is make a checklist, cap it at maybe 10 items. See what you can or can't live without. I prep the night before because I tend to forget necessities if I get my things together in the morning. Go somewhere calm and bring your bass gear, or whatever your comfortable with. Before you know it your rig will look wrong if you are missing a piece of gear you normally take out because of the repetition. Good luck and hope to see you out there. Regards, J |

Not sure if Irishman sent pics. Here's mine. I didn't realize until I fished with Irishman that the older models don't have the grooves for transducer, or livewell pump. I got mine this year from oex as a package installed by oex. Not as fancy (or expensive) as the hobies most guys have, but gets me on the water, and keeps me in good shape too. See you on the water
