Don't get me wrong, it appears he was alone.
|
You can clearly see hes holding the cam. So then anyone that has a go pro mount could catch 9 seabass and just say there were 3 in the yak right? I would like to think that I hear no other voices or no other movement in that tiny pos raft he has. I would argue he is alone.

Smh:(

He does say "This one we are gonna weigh"
That doesn't prove anything, but is food for thought. Eye witness accounts are going to be the only thing valuable in proving his guilt. |
Oh yea I have no doubt in my mind that the law cant prove anything. Too much circumstantial stuff.

Hey, if he kept 5 that he caught all by himself, I'm totally with all of you, he's a sleazeball scumbag, and I hope he gets caught, too. <O:p</O:p Aaron |
sadly you could probably call the dfg all you want...you can't prove anything...he could say that somebody else was on the boat so if dfg contacted him he could say that he could have kept 1 more...
In all likelihood, he was probably by himself...and over limits, but just like denzel Washington said in training day...."it's not what you know, it's what you can prove". |

I will vouch for the guy. His name is George. I was there that day and was right next to him when he hooked that big fish. He had a buddy with him (in a kayak alongside) who had two of his own for the morning. When George hooked that big fish, it took him way down the beach. His buddy followed him in the kayak the whole way. While motoring his Zodiac back up the beach, I'm pretty sure he put his buddies fish on his stringer so he wouldn't have to paddle his fish back.
George's other two fish were the result of a double hookup (in which he landed both), which I also witnessed. After he caught that big fish (3rd fish), he motored in. I was on the water before him and after he left that day. He only caught 3. |
And no. No ones missing a WSB bite. This was back in June.

But people like him also need to be careful when posting stuff like that. People are quick to hang... but he might as well have walked himself to the gallows with that video. |
Maybe that WAS his intent?

Wow that's one big WSB....

That looks like George Sisino of Clout Surfshop in Malibu.
It looks like he's fishing alone, but he could have a hook and line commercial license. Call him and ask him yourself. Clout surfshop 29575 PCH MALIBU, CA 90265 310-457-1511 Edit... Ha ha ha...... I should of read more of the thread before posting but like I said that looks like George, and even if he is alone he could have a hook and line commercial license. I know several guys in the Malibu and Channel Islands area that have them and though they usually target halibut they'll hit the seabass as well. It's funny but every time I'm approached by the DFG up there when I'm in my skiff the first thing they ask is if I'm fishing as a rec or commercial. Hook and line commercial licenses are more common then you might think, but ask Dim Jay he's the expert on Malibu. |
100% innocence......until proven guilty in a court of law. Nothing wrong with speculation, its in the human nature, just be careful how you use it.
